Digital Products
Digital crochet patterns are delivered electronically and do not require postage or packaging.

Orders are usually sent within 24 hours of purchase

Please allow up to 5 working days for delivery

It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure the correct email address is provided at checkout

Packaging & Sustainability
Sustainability is at the heart of Made in the Button Room, and packaging choices reflect this wherever possible.

Crochet kits are packed in plastic-free, recycled and recyclable cardboard boxes sourced from UK suppliers

Outer packaging is recyclable or compostable

All tape used is plastic-free paper tape or Sellotape Zero Plastic

Clear sleeves for greetings cards and stuffing for kits and amigurumi are made from plant-based (corn or vegetable starch) biodegradable materials

Wherever possible, clean, reused packaging materials are used to reduce waste
Please note: reused packaging may not always look “perfectly pretty”, but it is a deliberate choice in line with our sustainability values.
Gift Orders
If your order is being sent directly as a gift and a gift note is selected at checkout:

Items will be packed appropriately for gifting

Reused outer packaging will not be used

Tissue paper and suitable presentation will be included
If an order is intended as a gift but this is not stated at the time of purchase, reused packaging materials may be used.
Dispatch Times
We aim to dispatch orders as quickly as possible.

Most orders are dispatched within 2–5 working days

Many orders are sent sooner, often the next working day

Custom-made items (such as framed pieces or bespoke cards) are typically dispatched within 7–10 working days
Once your order has been dispatched, you will be notified.
Postage Services
All items are sent via Royal Mail, unless otherwise stated.

Greetings cards: Royal Mail Second Class Large Letter

Crochet kits & larger items: Royal Mail 48 Tracked
Postage upgrades (such as First Class, Tracked 24, or Special Delivery) are available on eligible products and can be selected at checkout.

Delivery Issues & Damaged Parcels
Every order is packed carefully to ensure it is suitable for transit.

If your item arrives damaged or there is an issue with delivery, please contact us as soon as possible

We will review the issue in line with UK consumer rights and our Returns & Refunds Policy
We cannot be held responsible for delays or damage caused by postal services once an item has been dispatched, but we will always work with you to resolve issues fairly and reasonably.
