This free 30 minute online crochet taster session is a relaxed, friendly way to see whether lessons with Made in the Button Room are the right fit for you. Whether you’re a complete beginner, returning to crochet after a long break, struggling with a specific project, or looking for personalised crochet support, this session gives us a chance to chat through what you need in a calm, pressure-free environment. This short online crochet session can be used to: Talk about beginner crochet lessons. Discuss future 1:1 online crochet tuition. Troubleshoot a technique or project. Chat through learning goals and confidence levels. Discuss accessibility requirements or learning preferences. Allow parents or guardians to ask questions before booking children’s crochet lessons. Made in the Button Room is built around accessible, encouraging and sustainable creativity. My teaching style is relaxed, supportive and completely judgement-free, no intimidating craft jargon or pressure to “already be good at it”. Just practical help, honest conversation and crochet support tailored to you. During the session, we can also discuss: How online crochet lessons work. Materials and tools. Suitable projects for your skill level. Workshop and lesson options. Future paid bookings and availability. This free crochet taster session is designed as a one-off introductory booking per person, giving us both a chance to see whether we’re a good fit before moving onto paid lessons or workshops. Any additional free troubleshooting sessions or follow-up chats are offered separately and entirely at the discretion of Made in the Button Room. Cancellation Policy
Booking, Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy Thank you for booking a lesson, workshop or session with Made in the Button Room. If you need to cancel your booking, cancellations made more than 48 hours before the scheduled start time are eligible for a full refund. Unfortunately, cancellations made less than 48 hours before the start of the session are non-refundable and the full booking fee will be charged. This is because lesson spaces are limited and it is often not possible to fill a cancelled appointment at short notice. If you are unable to attend and would like to reschedule, please get in touch as soon as possible. Rescheduling requests will be considered on a case-by-case basis and are offered at the discretion of Made in the Button Room. Any alternative date or time must be agreed by both parties and is subject to availability. If you arrive late to an online session, the lesson will still end at the originally scheduled time. Unfortunately, additional time cannot be guaranteed. In the unlikely event that Made in the Button Room needs to cancel or rearrange a session, you will be offered the choice of an alternative date or a full refund. Please ensure you have access to a suitable internet connection and any materials required for your lesson before the session begins. Refunds cannot be provided for technical issues, equipment problems or missed sessions that are outside the control of Made in the Button Room.
