Sustainability underpins every decision I make, from avoiding new plastic and choosing natural fibres wherever possible, to reusing materials and producing in small, considered batches. It’s not about perfection it’s about having as little negative impact on our environment as possible, being transparent, and making choices that feel responsible and realistic for a small creative business. Community is a big part of the Button Room. Through workshops, lessons, markets, events and online spaces, I aim to create an environment where people feel comfortable learning, asking questions, and enjoying creativity at their own pace - without pressure.

The Button Room is also home to the Button Room Minis - a collection of original crochet characters that feature throughout my patterns, kits and business as a whole. Each Mini has their own personality and job role within the Button Room family, bringing a playful edge to the business.
